Actually, about 99% of the work has already been done for me.
I came across one of my Dad's cousins online and he has helped me
by sending me files on my Dad's family, and submitting my name to
the Stepp/Stapp family online Group.
I have established a good relationship~~ via email ~~yet to meet in person
with my newly found~~~ 3rd cousin, ~~ John.
He lives in Ohio, and is an electrician in the coal mines, and a very sweet guy! John

"SOMETIMES WITH ONE I LOVE"
Sometimes with one I love, I fill myself with rage,
for fear I effuse unreturn'd love;
But now I think there is no unreturn'd love--
the pay is certain, one way or another; (I loved a certain person ardently, and my love was not return'd;
Here's one I wrote recently to a young person on the net who had a poem written that I felt was a self-destructing cry for help.
"Recognizable Writings"
~~~I've seen writings like this before.
I've seen the writer at my door
I recognize the pain within~~~a cry for help with your pen
you try to drown the pain away~~~~
with "whatever" happens to come your way.
I know~~~now ~~ that's it's too late
those poems I now have packed away.
hindsight is 20-20~~~if I could have seen then
The writer is gone ~~~forever more Never again to be at my door
But his memory will always be with me
his suffering then~~~I did not see
Forgiveness is prayed for everyday~~~in every way
this hurt will never ever go away.
Talk to your friends, your Mom or Dad
a sister or brother~~~~it won't be so bad
they really do care, even if it may seem not
Don't do it! They love you! They love you a lot!!
I am here to talk with you any time~~~~~that is...
if you want me to. I care, they care....we really do!
Now, it's all up to you.
There is no glory or notoriety in the loss of one
who chooses the way he is to go.~~~

"MY FAMILY"
I am a mother of four children.........two left this world to live in heaven.
..Arnold drowned at the young age of 13.....
(3 days before his 14th birthday) on Memorial Day in the Atlantic Ocean in the Jacksonville, Florida area. I shamelessly cried in public that day, and haven't stopped yet.
ARNOLDLANCE
Lance, my youngest, took his own life on Dec 16, 1995
...at the young and beautiful age of 23 and a half........
That broke my heart into a million pieces.
The pieces are spread upon his grave
Arnold~~May 28th......An honor student~~~excelled in Math.
He wanted to be a mathamatician when he grew up.
He use to help my friend, who was in college to be a CPA, do her homework.
He was doing both my taxes, and my check book at the age of 12

Lance~~June 13th~~ Member of the Illinois National Guard. A computerwiz,~~~~~interested in Transactional Analysis~~~~
Excelled in Literature and spelling. There wasn't any word he couldn't spell.
He use to assist me in spelling, and I was fairly good at it.
He is mostly certianly NOT starving!! It's just that his priorities seem to change recently. Music has captivated his interest more than baskeball for NOW!
My sweet daughter.....Cindy~~~("Blu" online ) ~~~was third born ....kind of resembles me and has a lot of the same traits, values and morals as I do.......
But she perfected the good ones~~and discarded the flaws~~~(*smile*)
But most definitely a very independent and resouceful person!!!
She is forever seeking knowledge~~~
~~~~Cindy is a young and beautiful successful business woman~~~pretty much could call her a workcoholic
~~~~but still likes to be a kid.....~~~
..loves her motorcycle (it makes me a nervous wreck)....her ATV's and the riding lawn mower. (*S*)
"Blu" has recently come online too! Not too often though...since she's ALWAYS busy with the two businesses.
All four of my children loved reading, avid knowledge seekers, and were/are creative, adaptable and curious people.

"OUR PETS"
Our 13 year old dog, Dufus, belonged to LANCE.
He is a small shaggy dog
(gained about 10 pounds within a month or two after Lance's death)
His hair covers his eyes, and has a beard & floppy ears.
He grew up with a cat~~~so he sometimes acts like one.~~~
~~..~~ He can do some tricks~~~if he's in the "mood". *S*
"That DOG" died today~~Sep 27, 1997~~~He's with his master now.
~~~~~~~~~~~And NOT to forget the cat~~~~~~Haegar, a 7 year old male Tabby cat~~~~
so lovable & affectionate~~~sometimes TOO much! ~~~~
He grabs for the "mouse" and meows at me when it's getting a little too late for me to be on the computer.
He "hits" me with his paw in the morning to wake me up and continues until I get out of bed!
